We transformed the lower level of this Cole Valley home to embrace the wooded rear yard. The newly renovated space is seamlessly integrated with the upper floor, and boasts a generous media room, a home office, full bath and kitchenette. We even carved out a reading nook – a favorite spot for the children and their friends. While this hilly San Francisco site was a challenge, we were able to reclaim the coveted outdoor areas, one perched atop a 100 year old rubble wall, and another that embraces stunning city views.
